President Trump’s border czar says his meetings with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey were a “productive” starting point.

Tom Homan met with the two Minnesota leaders on Tuesday after Trump sent him to the area to take charge of immigration enforcement following the fatal shootings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good by federal agents.

Homan said while he doesn’t agree with the two men on everything, he looks forward to more conversations in the days ahead.
