A US Congressman from Texas is leading the charge in the battle over President Trump’s 2026 fiscal year budget proposal. GOP House Budget Committee Chair Jodey Arrington says we can address the massive deficit by cutting wasteful spending in Medicaid.

Arrington told “FOX News Sunday” that Republicans have to stick together and not let Democrats scare voters into thinking they want to gut social services. President Trump’s budget proposal for the 2026 fiscal year calls for 163-billion-dollars in federal spending cuts.
