Six House Republicans have joined Democrats in putting an end to President Trump’s tariffs on Canada. A majority voted to repeal the administration’s trade policy on Wednesday, with only one Democrat opposing.
The joint resolution will now head to the Senate. Trump went on Truth Social after the vote, and claimed Canada has taken advantage of the U.S. for years and are “among the worst in the world to deal with.”
