Houston City Council Approves Cash Payments To Get Vaccinated


The Houston City Council is approving cash payments so people can get the coronavirus shot. The favorable vote happened this morning.

A 100-dollar gift card will be given to those who get the first Pfizer or Moderna inoculation, and a 50-dollar card for the second shot. Those who get the Johnson and Johnson vaccine can get 100-dollars. More information is at houstonemergency.org.
