Heavy hearts in Houston today where a police sergeant was killed this afternoon. Witnesses say the officer was shot several times and stumbled into a small motel for help. He reportedly was not in uniform and died on the scene. It’s believed this may have started from a road rage.
The suspect was seen driving away, and at this point hasn’t been arrested. Another update is expected soon.
