The feds have confirmed that they bought a warehouse near downtown San Antonio to be used as an immigration detention facility. The selling price was just over 66-million dollars. ICE says it will be renovated make it “well structured,” as a way to keep “criminals off American streets.”
The cash, they say, came from the One Big Beautiful Bill. They did not release a timeline.
