An illegal immigrant is in custody after hiding in a tree for hours trying to evade US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE says Raul Ical was a passenger in a car that was pulled over on South Navidad near Hazel Street on Tuesday. During the traffic stop, Ical bailed out and ran away, then climbed a tree in the backyard of a nearby home.

Ical reportedly hid in the tree for at least six hours. ICE says he’s a Guatemalan national who re-entered the country illegally after being deported in 2013.
