Immigrants Ditch Train, Get Captured Near Corpus

Several illegal immigrants are in federal custody after jumping off a train near Corpus Christi.   A Customs and Border Protection statement this past Friday said the immigrants got on a train at a rail yard in Robstown.  When Border Patrol agents began a search, the immigrants jumped.  The statement doesn’t give the number of immigrants involved but does say they were from Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.   It also says two of them had to be treated for injuries they suffered in the jump.
