Interchange Construction To Prompt Key Ramp Closures

Motorists are going to have to make some adjustments this week as part of the huge project to reconstruct the McAllen-Pharr interchange.

Starting Wednesday, for motorists eastbound on I-2, the Jackson Road entrance and exit ramps will be closed for the next 6 months. However, TEX-DOT will be opening a temporary exit ramp between Jackson Avenue and Jackson Road.

Starting Thursday, for motorists southbound on I-69C, the Sioux Road entrance and exit ramps will be closed for the next 2 months. TEX-DOT is asking drivers to be extra safe in those highway construction areas.
