Judge Agrees To Privacy Order In Mission Public Information Case

The City of Mission has won a part of its argument over the release of information to the family of a man who killed a police officer. A state district judge agreed yesterday to a protective order to keep the family of Juan Chapa, Junior from publicly releasing any of the information it receives about the case from the city. Chapa shot and killed Mission Police Corporal Jose Espericueta last year before being killed by other officers.
