Laser Testing Backed

There are reports that it was planned testing of an anti-drone laser that shut down El Paso’s airport on Wednesday.

Congressman Tony Gonzales says that sort of technology is vitally important, especially at high-profile events like the World Cup. But, at a Capitol Hill hearing, he blasted the rollout.

The TSA was not notified of the restriction of airspace above El Paso, which he says is “a problem.”
