Lawsuit Filed Against Suspect In Deadly McAllen Crash

0

The mother of a man killed in McAllen earlier this month is suing a suspect arrested following the deadly crash. Two people died following the May 17th crash at the intersection of Second Street and Nolana Avenue. Forty-year-old Dionicio Aguirre was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter on Thursday.

A lawsuit was filed against Aguirre and two downtown McAllen bars late last week. While the suit claims Aguirre was directly responsible for the death of Giancarlo Coriabustos, the bars are being sued for allegedly serving Aguirre too much alcohol in the hours before the crash.
