San Antonio legal experts are trying to make sense of President Joe Biden’s new executive order concerning asylum seekers.

The policy took effect last week, and will temporarily stop granting asylum to migrants at the border if illegal crossings pass 25-hundred a day. Migrant advocates’ groups are describing the policy as “disappointing” and “disheartening.”

Democrats and Republicans are both taking issue with Biden’s order, and there’s some question as to whether it will soon face a court challenge.
