Less Border Wall

Homeland Security is changing their plans for fencing along the Texas – Mexico border. There is no longer the goal to build a border wall through Big Bend National Park.

Presidio County Commissioner Deirdre Hisler says it would have been a waste of money. They don’t see illegal immigration because of natural barriers. The canyon walls are 15-hundred feet tall.
