Local Elections Officials Say They’re Set To Provide Safe Early Voting

Early voting begins tomorrow for the November 3rd election, and local elections officials say they’re set up to ensure the process will be safe.  Cameron County Elections Administrator Remi Garza says they’re taking the same precautionary measures they did during the primary runoff election in July.  Voters are also required to wear a face covering.  For voters who are skittish about going into the polling location, there will be curbside voting.  Plus you can cast a mail-in ballot if you’re eligible.  The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is October 23rd.  Garza suggests voters familiarize themselves with their ballot ahead of time in order to spend as little time as possible in the polling site.
