Some Rio Grande Valley residents will be paying more for electricity later this year. Magic Valley Electric Cooperative plans to raise rates effective October 1st.
Customers will pay an average of 12 dollars more a month, though that amount could vary depending on usage. It will be Magic Valley’s first rate increase since 2018.
