Mail operations have been suspended at the U.S. Postal Service main Processing and Distribution Center in McAllen.
The USPS announced Tuesday morning that mail processing operations will be suspended and that it would provide more information when full operations resume. The announcement did not say when that would be, nor if the freezing temperatures and related power outages prompted the suspension.
