A man is in custody following a deadly stabbing earlier this week near Mercedes. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Nestor Eduardo Flores was arrested early yesterday at his home.
Investigators had been searching for Flores since Wednesday, when he allegedly stabbed his brother in the 35-hundred block of Mile 13 North. Forty-three-year-old Jose Gabriel Flores died after he was taken to the hospital. Nestor Flores is expected to appear in court later today for his arraignment.
