Man Arrested For Pointing Laser At DPS Helicopter Pleads Guilty


A man arrested for pointing a laser at a Texas Department of Safety helicopter has pleaded guilty to the charges against him. Luis Solis entered his guilty plea Thursday.

The 42-year-old from Edcouch was arrested in May after officers in the helicopter were hit by a laser pointer at least two times. He faces up to five years in prison when sentenced in February.
