The Arizona neighbors of the missing mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie are speaking out in support. One neighbor told reporters the whole community is hoping for a good outcome in the Nancy Guthrie case.

Tuesday night, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it was questioning a man who was detained in connection with Guthrie’s disappearance. Early today, the man, identified only as Carlos, was released. He told reporters he didn’t know what was going on until detectives said he was being detained for kidnapping. He said that was the first time he had heard of Guthrie.
