By Police are investigating after a man was found dead on South Padre Island. Emergency personnel were called to the 47-hundred block of Gulf Boulevard near Beach Access 18 early Saturday morning. They found 40-year-old Jame Rey Christi of Lubbock at the scene. He was pronounced dead before he could be taken to the hospital. No other information about the case has been released.
