A man has been found guilty of a deadly 2023 shooting in Pharr. Rheinchard Lara was arrested two years ago following the death of his brother-in-law, Roberto Garza.
Investigators said the two men were arguing in the 34-hundred block of Mezcal Drive when the shooting happened. Lara was convicted of murder Tuesday and will remain in custody until his sentencing.
