A man is recovering after being attacked by bees in Alamo. First responders were called to the 300 block of San Angelo Drive on Saturday afternoon.

The unidentified man was reportedly mowing his lawn when the bees swarmed, stinging him more than two dozen times. He showed signs of an allergic reaction and was hospitalized with severe injuries.

The man’s wife and an Alamo firefighter were also stung but were treated at the scene.
