An alligator spotted in McAllen earlier this week has been found and relocated. The city warned residents about the alligator on Monday, urging caution around a canal near Second Street and Pecan Boulevard.

A social media post yesterday said professionals found and safely removed the gator, taking it to another location. The post thanked McAllen Animal Care and the McAllen Police Department for helping keep the community safe.
