McAllen And South Padre Island Team Up On Round-Trip Shuttle Service

Folks flying into McAllen now have access to a free ride to South Padre Island. The two cities have partnered to provide a shuttle bus from the airport to their destination on the Island and back to the airport. McAllen Director of Aviation Elizabeth Suarez tells 710 KURV this is another key Valleywide project:

The 12-passenger shuttle buses will run twice a day on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Suarez says it’s best to make a reservation but on-demand service is available.
