MConnell Offer Prayers After Capitol Incident

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell is offering prayers for two U.S. Capitol Police officers injured during today’s incident.

McConnell tweeted: “Praying for the United States Capitol Police officers who were attacked at the Capitol.”

The House and Senate are not in session this week. Security has been tight around the Capitol since the riot inside the building on January 6th.
