Mexican authorities are investigating the death of a federal prosecutor in Reynosa. The Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office announced the death of the unidentified prosecutor Monday.
The man’s vehicle was discovered on fire near a shopping plaza in the city. Tamaulipas Governor Americo Villarreal released a statement that condemned the man’s death and promised total cooperation with federal investigators.
