By The City of Mission wants to move its current city manager into a role as a consultant. The city council held a special meeting on Friday to amend the contract of City Manager Mike Perez.
The city’s two current assistant city managers will oversee operations during the transition. Perez still has to agree to the terms of the amended contract, and city officials hope that will happen this week.
