A Mission Police lieutenant is home again after months of COVID hospitalization. Lieutenant Javier Ramon came back home Saturday. He tested positive in late July last year and began his hospitalization experience first in Mission, then in San Antonio in August.

Chief Robert Dominguez says it’s great to have Ramon home. Ramon is credited with building the K-9 unit and heads up the department’s criminal investigation unit.
