A South Texas real estate agent is facing federal charges for allegedly selling houses and keeping the profits. Forty-five-year-old Sergio Efrain Zamora, Junior pled not guilty to wire fraud charges during a court appearance Wednesday.
Investigators say Zamora forged paperwork and signatures to sell homes without the owners’ permission, keeping the money for himself. He faces up to 20 years in prison if he is convicted.
