By The City of Mission is planning a summer internship program that will pay young adults to work for local businesses.
The city’s Economic Development Corporation is investing 36-thousand dollars to sponsor the six-week program.
Fifteen people between 16 and 22-years-old will earn 20 dollars an hour by working up to 20 hours a week. Applications for the program will be accepted through the end of May.
