A motorcycle rider is reportedly in critical condition following a major crash in Pharr. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 2 around 8:30 Tuesday night.
Investigators say the rider lost control and hit another motorcycle and was then hit by an oncoming vehicle. The crash led to the closure of the interchange flyover from Edinburg to San Juan, while eastbound I-2 between Cage and Veterans Boulevards was reduced to two lanes. Traffic returned to normal around 11 p.m.
