A movie theater in Harlingen is closed due to negative financial impact caused by COVID-19 emergency shutdown measures.

The Cinemark Ten on North 13th Street started the closure process in November.

On Sunday, Valley Morning Star reported the moviehouse is now closed for good. The theater has been entertaining Valley families for nearly 30-years. Cinemark’s 16 and XD theater locations are still open.
