Another round of severe spring weather is headed for the Plains and Deep South this weekend.

Forecasts show a dangerous spring severe weather pattern bringing days of heavy rain that could cause flash flooding, damaging wind gusts, large hail and the potential for tornadoes.

The weekend threat stretches across the Southern Plains from South Texas to southern Kansas. Storms are expected to exit Saturday but another more intense system will follow closely, blasting the region through Tuesday.
