An arrest has been made in connection to a deadly mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, that ended with eight kids dead.

The gunman who shot his children allegedly got the murder weapon from Charles Ford, who is now in custody. The 56-year old is charged with making a false statement to federal agents.

The U.S. Attorney for Louisiana said in a statement that the arrest “will give some small bit of solace to our Shreveport community.”
