President Trump is deploying the National Guard to Memphis as part of his federal crackdown on crime.

On Monday from the Oval Office, Trump said it will be exactly like the recent operation in Washington, DC. He said the Guard will be joined by agents from the FBI and other federal officers.

The President also said he isn’t ruling out similar operations in places like Chicago and St. Louis. Alabama’s Republican Governor Kay Ivey said Monday that if Trump wants to deploy troops to cities there like Birmingham and Montgomery, she’s on board.
