A Nebraska child who was stabbed by a woman in a Walmart parking lot is recovering after undergoing surgery. Omaha Police say a three-year-old boy in a shopping cart was abducted inside of a Walmart Tuesday morning by a woman brandishing a large kitchen knife that she stole from the store.
Police say officers confronted the woman in the parking lot and gave her multiple commands to drop the knife, and shot her after she cut the boy on his face and hand. The child was rushed to a hospital, where doctors say he will survive his injuries. The suspect was killed in the shooting.
