Governor Greg Abbott has named retired Navy Vice Admiral T.J. White as the man who will lead the newly-created Texas Cyber Command. He once ran the U.S. Cyber Command and went on to create an Austin-based cyber security company. His first decision will likely be determining where the agency will be located.
It was originally designed to be in San Antonio, at UTSA, but that was taken out of the final draft.
