NJ Cops Fired, Suspended For BLM Post

0

One New Jersey Township is firing a police officer who called Black Lives Matter protestors “terrorists” in a social media post.

Hopewell Township says Sara Erwin has been fired, while Sergeant Mandy Gray will be suspended for replying to the Facebook post. Both have been in public service for more than two decades with their lawyer calling the town’s decision “disgraceful and cowardice.”

The social media post was written in June of 2020, but the town made the move this past Friday.
