North Texas Cleaning Up After Storms With 70 MPH Gusts

North Texas residents are tidying up after intense storms early Wednesday brought high winds to the area. Oncor reports nearly 50-thousand customers were in the dark as of 7 a.m. Wednesday, more than 30-thousand of them in Dallas County.

Wind gusts up to 60 and 70 miles an hour were reported in some areas. Arlington police reported there were downed trees and some damage to a construction site. There were no reported injuries.
