NY Ending Domestic Traveler Quarantine Today

New York is ending its two-week domestic travel quarantine today. Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio blasted the move. He said he didn’t know if was the state’s idea of an April Fool’s joke, but calls it reckless.

Health experts still recommend people isolate when visiting or returning. They point out five to ten percent of all COVID cases in the city are linked to travel. A mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers.
