Bexar County election officials say early voting turnout for the June 7th mayoral runoff has exceeded previous early voting numbers in San Antonio.

The Elections Department says more than 98 thousand votes were cast from May 27th to June 3rd. The number tops the turnout for the May 3rd primary that put Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos into a runoff. It also exceeds the totals from the 2023 mayoral race and the mayoral runoff in 2019. The latest runoff election is coming up on Saturday.
