Operation Lone Star To Bring Free Medical Services To The Valley

Operation Lone Star returns to the Rio Grande Valley next week. The annual week-long medical preparedness exercise sets up a week from today in several cities across the border region.

Once again, state, military, and county and city health officials will partner to provide free medical exams including blood pressure and diabetes screenings, dental and vision exams, student sports physicals, and immunizations for children and adults.

The clinics will operate in Brownsville, Raymondville, San Juan, Rio Grande City, and Laredo. For the specific locations and other details, click the Operation Lone Star link on your county’s webpage.
