Beto O’Rourke is providing financial support for the Texas House Democrats who fled to Washington, DC, to obstruct a vote on an election integrity bill.  State Rep. Armando Walle, a Democrat from Houston, says O’Rourke’s group Powered by People will wire 600-thousand-dollars to the Texas House Democratic Caucus within the week.  O’Rourke, a failed candidate for both the U.S. Senate and the presidency, says the funds are to cover the costs of lodging, meals and transportation for about 50 runaway Democrats and about two-dozen staff.
