A Brownsville pediatrics office says a former employee’s child exploitation case did not involve the practice.
In a statement Wednesday, ABC Pediatrics said it was assured by the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office that Erik Almazan’s arrest was not related to his employment.
The 35-year-old Almazan was charged last week with possession or promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
