Pfizer To Ask FDA For Teen COVID Booster Approval

The first COVID booster for kids could be ready soon. Pfizer is expected to ask the FDA to approve an extra dose for 16 and 17-year olds, possibly by tomorrow.

This comes as the nation prepares for the new Omicron variant, which has now spread to 17 countries.

President Biden stresses there’s no need to panic, saying vaccinations and booster shots are the best protection. He’s asking everyone to mask up.
