A South Texas man is facing charges after a deadly crash earlier this month near Corpus Christi.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says 24-year-old Joshua Galvan of Pharr ran a stop sign at the intersection of two county roads in Nueces County on January 15th. Galvan’s car reportedly hit a vehicle carrying a Corpus Christi man and three children.
Thirty-five-year-old Randy Rubio died at the scene, while two of the children died after they were taken to the hospital. Galvan was also injured and was taken into custody after his release from the hospital. He’s been charged with three counts of manslaughter, and his bond was set at four-point-five-million dollars.
