The Pharr Public Health Department has partnered with an Austin organization to open a breast milk donation site. Officials cut the ribbon on the Pharr ONE breast milk collection site yesterday.

Mothers’ Milk Bank of Austin will cover all screening costs for those who wish to join the list of approved donors. The breast milk collected will be distributed to needy infants locally and at hospitals in Texas and other U.S. states.
