Political Donations Shifting

Some of the biggest political donors in Texas are shifting their strategy this year. Instead of throwing cash at local politicians, they’re backing the big statewide races.

Longtime lobbyist Bill Miller says that donors feel the state legislature is set up for success, so less cash needs to go into those races.
