Several politicians are calling for Casey Wasserman to resign from the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics Committee after he appeared in the Epstein files. The chair of LA28 exchanged flirtatious emails with Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
In one exchange, he wrote that he’d like to see her in a “tight leather outfit.” Maxwell is now in prison after she was convicted of child sex trafficking. This week, Wasserman apologized for his poor choice of friends. L.A. County Supervisor Janice Hahn says Wasserman needs to step down from his role overseeing the Olympics. Other L.A. politicians are now echoing that sentiment.
